THIS FORUM IS FOR ALL OF THE HOSTV CLIENTS AFFECTED BY THE RECENT SERVER FAILURES. WHILE HOSTV WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DOING DAILY BACKUPS THE DATA LOSS HAS AFFECTED A "SMALL GROUP OF CUSTOMERS" - WHICH SEEMS TO BE EVERYONE! PLEASE JOIN AND COMMUNICATE ANY INFORMATION TOWARDS LEGAL ACTION THAT MAY BE TAKING PLACE.

I've requested a refund as you can see in the convo below (and at http://forums.hostv.com/general-support/1586-nodes-downtime-15.html ), which incidentally is on HostV's "support" forum. You can see the lack of response and mentions of how HostV has even bothered to post any recent comments in that thread. It's 14 pages of customers concerned about their sites and data.

It's beyond ridiculous.
2 Lessons learned: (1)Do NOT host with HostV and (2)Have a data backup system in place for your own security.
